iX Workshop: Introduction to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Sat 1st Feb, 2025

The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is designed to assist organizations in transitioning to the cloud and enhancing their operational processes. This platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools and services aimed at application development, data and process integration, data management, as well as analytics and machine learning.

In light of the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which is set to establish new standards in Europe, manufacturers of products featuring digital elements must now comply with stringent cybersecurity requirements. This significant legislative change will require a transformation in product testing and certification to align with a new European framework. The workshop will explore how manufacturers can prepare for the CRA, focusing on key standards such as IEC 62443-4-1, which outlines Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements, and IEC 62443-4-2, which specifies technical security criteria.

Participants can register for the upcoming sessions, including one on February 19, 2025, and another on July 10, 2025, both of which will be conducted online from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Early registrants can benefit from a 10% discount until June 11, 2025.

One of the highlights of the workshop, scheduled for March 14, 2024, will be three hands-on exercises that provide attendees with practical experience. This session will cover the fundamentals of SAP BTP and allow participants to engage in developing applications using the SAP BTP Extension Suite, integrating interfaces with the Integration Suite, and automating business processes using SAP Build, from identification to optimization.

The workshop will be led by an expert in the field, who has extensive experience in guiding both medium-sized and large enterprises through complex SAP projects. This interactive format promises to equip attendees with actionable insights and skills applicable to their respective organizations.
