Investigation Launched After Allegations of Assault in Mallorca Brothel

Palma, Mallorca - Authorities are investigating serious allegations concerning a young German tourist who claims he was assaulted and defrauded at a local brothel. The incident reportedly involves a prostitute and a security guard from the establishment, who have been taken into custody following the allegations made by the 18-year-old victim.

According to reports from various local media, including the Diario de Mallorca, the young man, whose specific background has not been disclosed, visited the brothel on July 16 after spending time with friends. Initially, the group claimed to have only consumed drinks before leaving the venue. However, the following day, the victim discovered a charge of 450 euros on his account, leading him to return to the establishment alone to seek a refund.

The victim reported that when he threatened to file a complaint, a security guard forcibly escorted him into a private room. He alleges that he lost consciousness, and upon regaining awareness, he found himself in a compromising situation next to a prostitute and discovered the presence of a used condom.

Shortly after this ordeal, he was reportedly ejected from the brothel, prompting him to report the incident to the police. Law enforcement officials acted swiftly, apprehending both the security guard and the prostitute within hours of the complaint.

Each of the accused has denied the allegations, asserting that any interactions with the tourist were consensual. Following initial questioning, an investigating judge released them under specific conditions, while the inquiry continues to determine whether formal charges will be filed.
