
Ukraine Targets Outdated Military Equipment in Ongoing Conflict

Adventure-seeking climbers have the opportunity to test their limits at lofty heights this summer in the Munich Airport Center (MAC). From August 7th to August 30th, 2023, both seasoned climbers and beginners can get a taste of the high-flying experience. The MAC-Forum will be home to a specially designed high ropes course, offering visitors a chance to conquer new challenges. Experienced instructors will be available to provide guidance and supply the necessary safety equipment for the 15-meter-high and 23-meter-wide climbing tower. A two-hour climbing session for adults aged 15 years and above costs nine euros, while children up to 14 years old can participate for seven euros.
Climbing slots can be booked through www.munich-airport.de/hoehenflug. On-site registration and payment for available slots will also be possible. The high ropes course will be open for climbing from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. After an exhilarating "Höhenflug," participants can unwind and enjoy refreshing drinks at the "Surf and Turf Bar," where climbers receive a one-euro discount on beverages with a climbing ticket. The "Surf and Turf Bar" operates from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekends.
To participate, climbers must be at least 125 centimeters tall, and children under 140 centimeters must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy footwear and sportswear are recommended, while objects that may fall from pockets should not be carried during the activity.
