Tragic Paragliding Incident Claims the Life of Felix Baumgartner in Italy

Porto Sant'Elpidio, Italy - In a tragic turn of events, renowned Austrian extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner has died following a paragliding accident in the coastal town of Porto Sant'Elpidio. The 56-year-old was involved in the fatal incident on Thursday afternoon, as confirmed by local authorities and the Austrian Foreign Ministry.

Reports indicate that Baumgartner had taken off from a paragliding ramp in Fermo while vacationing with his wife.
