Trommel-Schnupper-Workshop

Archäologische Staatssammlung

Join us on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Archäologische Staatssammlung for the exciting Trommel-Schnupper-Workshop! This workshop is part of the ongoing exhibition "Planet Africa - A Journey Through Time" at the Archaeological State Collection, which will continue until the end of September. This event promises a vibrant accompanying program for both young and old.

Under the guidance of Cheikh Bangoura, an experienced dancer and drummer from Senegal, children and teenagers aged 10 and above are invited to explore the rhythms of West Africa. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Cheikh brings joy, patience, and expertise to the workshop, allowing participants to play traditional West African beats on the Djembe, a type of hand drum.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to make music together!
