Three of a Kind
Join us for an enchanting evening of music with Three of a Kind, featuring the talented Alexandrina Simeon. The trio formed during their collaboration on a project for the Munich Modern Jazz Orchestra, where they arranged compositions by Astor Piazzolla for a jazz big band. This inspired them to perform together in a more intimate, chamber music setting, perfectly suited for Piazzolla's magnificent tangos. Experience the incredible virtuosity of Vladislav Cojocaru on accordion and the beautiful tones of Mark Pusker on clarinet.
Alexandrina's repertoire spans from classical to soul, pop, and gospel. She has performed as a soloist in Duke Ellington's "Sacred Concert" and Steve Reich's "Music for 18 Musicians." Furthermore, she conducts singing workshops and serves as a singing lecturer at the Chair of Music Education and Didactics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
