The Wellermen, a bass-voiced folk group that gained fame during the viral sea shanty trend in early 2021, will embark on their Northern Sky UK & EU Tour. They are set to perform three concerts in Germany in May 2025. The quartet, consisting of Bobby Waters and Luke Taylor from the USA, and Jonny Stewart and Sam Pope from the UK, initially met just once before their duet of the sea shanty 'Wellerman' went viral on TikTok, accruing over 100 million views globally. Since then, they have appeared at prestigious events and TV shows, such as the Brit Awards and The Colbert Show. The Wellermen have also contributed to marine conservation initiatives, donating proceeds from 'Wellerman' to the Marine Conservation Society. Following the success of their self-titled debut album, which includes hits like 'Misty Mountains' and 'Hoist The Colours,' the band is set to release their highly anticipated second album in Winter 2024 after their first US tour in June 2024.
