The concert will showcase renowned cellist Jan Vogler, alongside exceptional artists including violinist Tassilo Probst, tenor Sungmin Song, and pianist Amadeus Wiesensee. The evening's program includes a delightful selection of classical pieces such as Schumann's Fantasiestücke for cello and piano, arias from Puccini's operas 'Tosca' and 'Turandot', Alard's fantasy on 'La Traviata', Massenet's aria from 'Werther', Lehar's aria from 'Giuditta', Ravel's sonata for violin and cello, and Mendelssohn's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor.

Jan Vogler, a cellist born in East Berlin, moved to New York in 1997 with his talented wife, Mira Wang, a violinist. His illustrious career has seen him collaborate with leading orchestras and conductors worldwide. He founded the Moritzburg Chamber Music Festival to promote young musicians and took over the Dresdner Musikfestspiele in 2009. His dedication to contemporary music has led to premieres of works by composers like Wolfgang Rihm and Jörg Widmann. With a unique sound from his Stradivari 'Castelbarco/Fau' from 1707, Vogler continues to be a notable figure in the classical music scene. This concert will also feature rising stars in the classical music world, making it an event not to be missed.
