Founded in 1999 by Antal Barnás, the Ungarische Kammerphilharmonie brings together members of leading orchestras from Budapest and Györ and has earned an outstanding reputation across Europe. Since 2000, the ensemble has embarked on an annual New Year's concert tour in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, performing at various festivals and renowned European concert halls, including the Wiener Musikverein, Bregenzer Festspielhaus, Salzburg Mozarteum, and Berliner Philharmonie. The orchestra is celebrated for its high artistic standards, spirited interpretations, elegance, and sensitivity, achieving great acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
