PINK
Join us for the exhibition PINK, exploring the significance of the color pink in art and everyday life, from March 13 to August 3, 2025, at Pasinger Fabrik. This exhibition features the works of nearly 30 artists and includes a diverse program of dance, theater, film, and workshops where guests can creatively experiment with the color pink.
Historically, pink symbolized masculinity until the French Revolution, after which it became associated with femininity, particularly after the introduction of the Barbie doll in 1959. Today, pink not only represents stereotypes of femininity but also stands for empowerment and self-determination in the fight for equality.
The exhibition reflects contemporary artistic interpretations of the color's symbolic meanings and societal appropriation.
Participating artists include Eva & Adele, Tatjana Busch, Adidal Abou Chamat, and many more.
