ODEON-Konzerte
Join us for a remarkable musical celebration that uniquely blends tradition and modernity. Experience the chamber music piano works of W.A. Mozart, performed alternately on a historically authentic fortepiano and a modern concert grand piano. As always, the professors from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (HMTM) will perform alongside exceptionally talented students from the institution.
The ODEON concerts also aim to rediscover marginalized composers. In the 2024/25 concert season, we will spotlight Wolfgang Jacobi, a composer known for his works like 'Der Menschenmaulwurf' (1932) created for the workers' choir movement. Jacobi faced professional and performance bans imposed by the Nazis from 1933 to 1945, as he was categorized as a 'half-Jew' due to his Jewish father. This concert promises a remarkable journey through music history.
