Neue Welten Exhibition
Join us for the exhibition Neue Welten at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk/Bergson Gallery, where the Rotary Club München-Bogenhausen presents remarkable works by graduates of the Akademie der Bildenden Künste. This exhibition features 19 captivating chapters, showcasing installations, objects, sculptures, photographs, paintings, and films. The displayed artistic expressions may serve as comments on our world, propose future designs, or anticipate new ideas.
Accompanying the exhibition is a publication documenting all exhibited works by participating artists, created in collaboration with students from the Typography and Communication Design Department at the Hochschule München.
The featured artists include Zarah Abraham, Shirley Cambonie, Yuhao Chen, Xenia Hartok, Roman Cherezov, Lara Koch, Pierre-Yves Delannoy, Lena Grossmann, Nikolai Gümbel, Leonhard Huber, Dominik Schreiner, Sri Maryanto, Rosa Pfluger, Raumfragen e.V., Karolina Vocke, Tabata von der Locht, Alexander Scharf, Anna Schübel, Merlin Stadler, Janina Totzauer, and Julia Walk.
The Neue Welten award was initiated in 2021 by Dr. Elisabeth Hartung and is supported by over 60 members of the Rotary Club München-Bogenhausen, who are engaged in various fields including business, science, art, and politics. Their goal is to promote cultural diversity in Munich by providing early-career artists with new partnerships and forums, emphasizing the importance of contemporary art in the city's development and culture. This award and exhibition are realized in cooperation with the Akademieverein München e.V.
The exhibition is open until August 2nd, with free entry. Visit us on Thursdays and Fridays from 14:00 to 19:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 19:00. Please note that opening hours may vary on holidays or due to events.
