Messengers From Above
Experience the fascinating exhibition Messengers From Above, focusing on meteorites--mysterious messengers from space. Every day, countless extraterrestrial rock fragments penetrate the Earth's atmosphere, often burning up unnoticed. However, some debris makes it to the Earth's surface, holding exciting secrets. Meteorites are believed to have played a crucial role in the origin of life.
This exhibition features the works of renowned artists such as Yael Bartana, Julius von Bismarck, Albrecht Dürer, Bogomir Ecker, Rodney Graham, Wolfgang Kaiser, Lukas Kindermann, Sonia Leimer, Olaf Nicolai, Regine Petersen, James Rosenquist, and Charles Stankievech. The primordial material of the solar system transforms into a 'time capsule,' serving as a valuable carrier of information for both art and science--showcasing utopian-dystopian visions and works filled with humor and poetry.
Additionally, a science program will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 19:00, and guided tours are available on Thursday, March 13, at 18:00, and Saturday, March 22, at 15:00 (until May 11).
