Magdalenenfest: Das Volksfest im Nymphenburger Hirschgarten
For those seeking a cozy folk festival, the Magdalenenfest is a must-visit. It is the only festival in the city that takes place entirely on a green meadow, right next to the famous beer garden. Various vendors provide entertainment in the Hirschgarten, featuring shooting and throwing booths, as well as a nostalgic chain carousel. There are rides for young children, along with hearty Bavarian delicacies and refreshing beer. The market vendors offer a curated selection of items, from toys to cooking pots and wicker goods. The two Wednesdays, July 9 and July 16, are family days, featuring reduced prices. On July 9, the Kasperl will also make an appearance at 3 PM.
