Join us for the exhibition titled 'Macht's gut und danke für das Bier!', showcasing the works of Steffen Haas and Gunter Hansen as part of the Munich Comic Festival. This exhibition runs from June 5 to June 22, 2025, at Kösk, located at Schillerstraße 38, 80336 Munich.

Haas and Hansen will present the sixth and final volume of their beloved comic series featured in the magazine, along with 17 unpublished stories and an extensive adventure tale. For 26 years, a chick and a mouse have entertained readers through a three-panel strip published in the free event magazine. Within this quarter-century, they produced a total of 598 comics centered around one main theme: beer. The comic often takes place at the bar, run by a trans-species salamander lady with mammalian features.

Five books have been published under the title 'Das Küken, die Maus und das Bier' by the Munich-based Strapazin Verlag. Alongside the exhibition, the sixth volume will be released, containing the remainder of the series along with 18 unpublished stories and an extended adventure narrative. The Kösk exhibition will feature numerous original drawings from the comic strips along with other works by both artists.

On the closing day, June 22, Steffen Haas and Jewgjenij Schuhr will perform 'The Return of the Beaver' live, a legendary show filled with over a thousand quirky illustrations and musical interludes, all delivered by the small mole, Mole, with a remarkable vocal range. Please note, this event has been canceled for health reasons.

Book signing sessions with Hansen & Haas will occur on June 5 at 19:00 and additionally on June 7 from 16:00-19:00, June 12 from 18:00-21:00, and June 15 from 16:00-19:00. They will also be present at the Comic Festival in the Old Congress Hall from June 19 to June 21, from 12:00 to 18:00, and on June 22 from 12:00 to 17:00.
