Lee Miller Photography
Visit the Lee Miller Photography exhibition at the Amerikahaus, showcasing works from various phases of the artist's career. Lee Miller, a former model turned photographer, captured some of the most significant moments during the so-called 'Zero Hour' in Munich. Her war photographs provide an American perspective on the end of the war in Europe, documenting the journey of American soldiers from the Normandy landings to the liberation of Dachau concentration camp. The exhibition features her unflinching portrayal of suffering and destruction.
The exhibition will be open until July 31, 2025. Please note that the exhibition will be closed on Monday, July 7, due to renovation work.
A guided tour will take place on Thursday, July 31, at 16:00. Participation is limited, and prior registration is required.
