The Bach Collegium Munich, a longstanding institution known for its performances of Bach's major oratorios in Munich, presents the Christmas Oratorio by Johann Sebastian Bach. This event will feature renowned soloists including Julia Duscher (soprano), Louise-Lotte Edler (alto), Michael Nowak (tenor), and Jakob Schad (bass). The concert will showcase Cantatas I-III & VI BWV 248 of the Christmas Oratorio.

Since the concert season 2019/2020, the Bach Collegium Munich has established a professional choir comprised of exceptionally talented singing students from three Bavarian music universities in a collaboration aimed at promoting spiritual music. This initiative has been made possible by the generous support of Johannes Burges, a long-time patron of the Munich Concert Association.
