Der Räuber Hotzenplotz
Based on Otfried Preußler's story, this delightful children's play features Kasperl and Seppel as they prepare a birthday gift for their grandmother - a musical coffee grinder. However, their plans are disrupted when the notorious Räuber Hotzenplotz steals the grinder while they are out fetching cream for a cake. The boys bravely venture into the dark woods to rescue their grandmother but soon find themselves in Hotzenplotz's clutches. Hotzenplotz captures Kasperl to serve him, while he sells Seppel to the evil sorcerer Petrosilius Zwackelmann. In a twist of fate, the boys switch hats, leading to a clever ruse where Kasperl outsmarts the sorcerer. With the help of the fairy Amaryllis, they defeat both Hotzenplotz and Zwackelmann, culminating in a joyful reunion with their grandmother, complete with plum cake and whipped cream, served from the magical grinder.
