On Friday, July 4, 2025, from 14:00 to 19:00, the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich will host the exhibition of Belgian artist Arne Quinze, who continues his over twenty-year exploration of the disrupted relationship between humanity and nature. This exhibition invites visitors to reevaluate their connection with nature and consider the balance between constructed and organic environments.

The show features an impressive selection of works, including large-scale oil paintings, sculptures crafted from raw bronze and aluminum, ceramics, Murano glass, and a video installation, all displayed within former coal silos. Together, these art pieces create an immersive experience that highlights both the raw power of nature and its fragile harmony. Central to the exhibition is the question of how humans have increasingly become estranged from natural rhythms and values. Quinze employs various materials, merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic expression, resulting in sculptures that embody both strength and fragility--reflective of nature itself.

A notable aspect of Quinze's work is his close collaboration with the renowned Berengo Studio in Murano and ceramic artists from Atelier Vierkant. Together, they have developed new techniques that expand the creative potential of glass and clay, illustrating the tension between nature and art. The exhibition showcases the full spectrum of natural energies, from the strength of metal to the earthy texture of clay, and the delicate fragility of glass. This is complemented by Quinze's expressive paintings, inspired by his garden and travels in nature. A video presentation offers insights into the emotional tension between urban living and the desire for a connection with the natural world.
