Allie Sherlock
Allie Sherlock is proof that age is just a number. The 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Cork, Ireland, began her musical journey performing on the streets of her hometown and in Dublin at just 12 years old. She smiles, saying, 'I grew up loving music - I was always the kid singing around the house all of the time, driving everyone mad.' Not singing never seemed like an option for the young Irish talent - and thankfully so! She has steadily built a following of over 14.5 million on social media, thanks to her distinctive voice and captivating stage presence. In addition to an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Allie has had the opportunity to share the stage as a supporting act for artists like OneRepublic and Gavin James.
After a sold-out show in Berlin at the end of March, an exciting new chapter in her career begins this autumn as she embarks on her first headline tour in Germany, releasing her own songs that she has written and composed. 'How Love Works' was released in October as her first single, authentically reflecting the creative process of the young musician. With refreshing ease and touching honesty, she shares her (self-)doubts that catch up with her at a party: 'The song was born out of an experience where I felt like an outsider at a party. While watching sparks fly amongst my friends who were happy and partnering up, I began to question the mechanics of connection - how love actually works.' This question resonates with many who have found themselves in similar situations. How the answer may look, she tells best herself. Allie Sherlock is equally at home on both large and small stages. You can experience her undoubtedly captivating live talent at her four concerts in Germany this October.
