Every year again! - Christmas with the Jazzrausch Bigband. The Jazzrausch Bigband gained fame through their techno-jazz programs, effectively inventing a new genre. However, every year, since their founding ten years ago, the group launches a Christmas program at the end of the year.

"Alle Jahre wieder!" - the title of the Christmas program released in 2022 suggests it all: With infectious joy, the 20 musicians spread the entire repertoire of big band history through Leonhard Kuhn's skillful and humorous arrangements of German Christmas songs. "Tochter Zion" humorously recalls the Comedian Harmonists, while "Es wird scho glei dumpa" grooves in the style of Herb Alpert. "Ihr Kinderlein kommet" pays homage to the swing of the Basie Band, and the title track "Alle Jahre wieder" bows before Thad Jones.

"What rhythm is to our techno programs, melodies are to our Christmas programs," says bandleader Roman Sladek. "The beauty of 'Alle Jahre wieder!' is that everyone knows the pieces. This creates a common musical meeting point for the audience and us, from which we embark on a journey of discovery together." This perfectly explains the phenomenon of the Jazzrausch Bigband: with heart, mind, and joy, they break down musical barriers, ensuring that the band and audience have a gigantic amount of fun together.
