Elderly Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Grevenbroich Accident

In Grevenbroich, an 88-year-old woman sustained severe injuries while attempting to cross Lindenstraße on the morning of September 9, 2025. The incident occurred shortly after 6:00 AM when the elderly pedestrian entered the road outside of a designated crosswalk near the intersection with Hundhausenstraße.

A driver from Grevenbroich, traveling out of the city, was unable to notice her in the dark and rainy conditions, leading to a collision that could not be avoided. The impact caused the woman to fall, resulting in serious injuries.

Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene to provide medical assistance and subsequently transported her to a local hospital for further treatment.
