In a startling incident in Berlin-Charlottenburg, two individuals engaged in a dramatic chase with undercover officers on Saturday evening. The Berlin police reported that the suspects, both unidentified, were driving a Mercedes loaded with illegal narcotics when the pursuit began.

According to police accounts, the confrontation started around 6:25 PM when officers in plain clothes attempted to stop the vehicle in a parking garage located on Nürnberger Straße. In response, the driver accelerated and crashed through the first barrier. Initially, the vehicle was headed in the wrong direction, but the driver quickly turned around, barreling through a second barrier that led to the parking garage's exit.

Once on the street, the suspects continued their reckless flight down Nürnberger Straße, heading towards Kurfürstenstraße while ignoring traffic signals, nearly colliding with another vehicle in the process.

The chase reached a climax on Ansbacher Straße, where both individuals exited the moving Mercedes, which then rolled on and collided with the wall of a nearby hotel. Despite immediate efforts by the police to apprehend the fleeing suspects, they managed to evade capture on foot.

Authorities conducted a thorough search of the area, but the suspects' whereabouts remain unknown. Following the incident, police discovered a significant quantity of illegal drugs both inside the vehicle and along the escape route. The Mercedes, along with the narcotics, was subsequently seized by law enforcement.

Investigations are currently underway to establish the identities of the two men involved. They are being sought for suspected hit-and-run offenses as well as trafficking in illegal substances.
