DMEA Digital Health Conference Relocates to Munich from 2027

The leading European trade fair for digital health, DMEA, is set to move its venue from Berlin to Munich beginning in April 2027. This strategic relocation was jointly announced by the German Association for Health IT (bvitg) and Messe München, signaling a new phase for the event as it aims to expand its international reach and influence.

Previously hosted in Berlin for several years, the DMEA has established itself as a central platform for digital health innovations, drawing participants from across the healthcare sector including technology providers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers. According to the organizers, the decision to move to Munich was driven by the increasing scale and internationalization of the event, necessitating a venue with greater capacity and advanced infrastructure.

The upcoming DMEA is scheduled to take place from April 13 to 15, 2027 at the Messe München exhibition center. The new location is expected to provide additional space for exhibitors and attendees, as well as opportunities to introduce new event and congress formats that cater to a growing and diverse audience. Organizers emphasize that Munich's well-developed exhibition and conference facilities, alongside its excellent international connectivity, make it an ideal venue for the evolving needs of the digital health industry.

The Smart Health Conference is expected to continue addressing key topics in digital health, ensuring that Berlin remains a significant location for industry dialogue and innovation.
