
No let-up in outrage against Pakistan a week after Pahalgam terrorist attack

Fürstenfeldbruck. The ecumenical church congress had a dramatic end for the guests at the school centre Tulpenfeld. 65 teenagers suffered from a stomach virus, 22 had to be brought to hospital.
750 guests left on sunday morning, health authorities assumed that the virus is the noro virus which is highly contagious. On saturday 12 participants of the church congress in Munich had to be treated for stomach illnesses, two of them were brought to hospital for quarantine. In the evening the attendees brought the virus to Bruck, at 6 o'clock the "Tulpenfeld" accomodation opened and half an hour later 7 of the 50 guests were suffering from diarrhea and vomiting.
The emergency team arrived shortly after the incident began. Viruses spread quickly in such confined, crowded conditions and even more so in accomodation such as the Tulpenfeld. The paramedics called for support from Starnberg and help from the THW.
120 paramedics and helpers, as well as 7 emergency doctors looked after the patients throughout the night. They wore masks so as to not get infected themselves. The leadership of the church congress as well as the mayor of Bruck were on site.
