Baden-Baden witnessed a remarkable act of bravery as a bystander intervened to prevent the theft of a bicycle from two teenagers. The incident unfolded last Wednesday evening around 8:50 PM along the Lichtentaler Allee, where two 14-year-old boys were riding their bicycles towards the Festspielhaus. They were suddenly confronted by a group of four to five adolescents who verbally harassed them and forced them to stop.

Despite the intimidation and insults hurled at them, the boys attempted to continue their ride. However, their pursuers were relentless, trailing them all the way to the vicinity of the Kurhaus. As they approached the intersection of Kaiserallee and Kapuzinerstraße, the situation escalated. One of the boys managed to escape towards Kapuzinerstraße, while the other was forcibly pulled off his bike. One of the assailants seized the opportunity to grab the abandoned bicycle.

Fortunately, the frightened teenager encountered a determined woman who was passing by. In an assertive manner, she confronted the attackers, calling them out loudly and effectively scaring them away. With her support and the assistance of other bystanders, she was able to return the stolen bicycle to its rightful owner.

The local police are currently seeking the courageous woman and other witnesses to the incident. The main suspect has been described as a male approximately 16 to 17 years old, standing about 178 cm tall, with a slim build, dark curly hair that is shaved on the sides, and he spoke German with an accent. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
