Hit-and-Run Incident in Buttstädt Involves Skoda and VW Golf

Buttstädt witnessed a concerning hit-and-run incident on Thursday morning, specifically on Rastenberger Straße, involving a black VW Golf and a Skoda vehicle.

According to reports, a 25-year-old woman driving a Skoda was forced onto the opposite lane when the VW Golf, traveling in the opposite direction, encroached upon her lane during a curve. In an effort to avoid a collision, the Skoda driver swerved and subsequently collided with the roadside barrier.

Following the accident, the driver of the VW Golf did not stop to assist and continued driving away from the scene. This has prompted local authorities to appeal for witnesses who may have information regarding the incident or the fleeing vehicle.
