Bus crashes into tree

Palzing. On a dangerously slippy road in Palzing route bus 617 went off the road and slid into a tree. One 19 year old female pasenger was seriously injured.

The accident occurred around 7:30 at Palzing (Freising). According to initial police findings, there was ice on the road and the accident occurred on a hilly section where it would have been harder to control a vehicle.

The 19 year old woman suffered serious head injuries and was taken by rescue helicopter to hospital. 16 other people suffered minor injuries, including the bus driver and ten school children. Police, fire and rescue services were at the scene.
