Büchenbeuren Incident: Dog Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident

A tragic event unfolded on May 23, 2025, in Büchenbeuren when a dog was fatally struck by a vehicle on the L182 road. The incident occurred while the dog's owner was walking two leashed dogs and was transitioning across the roadway.

As the owner managed to cross the street and reached the grassy area, one of the dogs was hit by a car coming from the direction of Laufersweiler. The dog was tethered with a short leash of approximately one meter, keeping it close to its owner at the time of the accident.
