Bosch to Cease Production at Two German Plants in 2025

The multinational engineering and technology company Bosch has announced plans to halt operations at two of its Power Tools manufacturing facilities in Germany next year as part of a broader cost-cutting initiative.

This decision follows the company's previous announcement regarding a significant reduction in workforce, specifically impacting the Power Tools division. The planned shutdowns are set to affect a facility located at the company's headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, a site that has already experienced significant pushback from employees amidst the ongoing restructuring.

Despite the protests aimed at mitigating the impact of job cuts, Bosch confirmed that the production lines at both affected locations will be phased out. The company has indicated a strategic shift towards international production, suggesting that manufacturing efforts will be relocated to facilities abroad.
