The popular ARD magazine show 'Brisant' is set to alter its broadcast schedule as part of a wider restructuring of the network's early evening programming. Traditionally, 'Brisant' has served as a staple in ARD's pre-evening line-up, delivering daily updates on entertainment and celebrity news.
Under the previous schedule, presenters Kamilla Senjo and Marwa Eldessouky alternated hosting duties from Monday through Saturday at 17:15, with a slightly earlier start on Sundays. However, viewers will soon need to adjust to a new schedule, as the program is shifting to an earlier slot.
Starting 13 October, 'Brisant' will air one hour earlier, at 16:15. This change is part of a broader rearrangement of ARD's evening programming, aimed at optimizing viewer engagement and streamlining the flow of entertainment and quiz shows throughout the evening.
Following 'Brisant', the quiz show 'Gefragt - Gejagt' will move into the 17:10 slot, hosted by Alexander Bommes. This transition is designed to provide audiences with a seamless progression from entertainment news to quiz-based programming. At 18:00, Kai Pflaume will continue to welcome viewers to the long-running quiz show 'Wer weiß denn sowas?', maintaining its established position in the schedule.
The revised line-up is expected to enhance the viewing experience by offering a more concentrated block of quiz and knowledge-based programming. According to ARD's evening programming management, these strategic changes are intended to cater to audience preferences and to capitalize on the popularity of quiz shows during the early evening period.
As part of this programming update, 'Brisant' will continue to deliver its signature coverage of the latest developments in the world of entertainment, providing audiences with timely and relevant news about well-known figures and trending topics. The program's duration and format will remain consistent despite the shift in timing.
This adjustment is among several scheduled for ARD's evening offerings, with the network aiming to strengthen its competitive position in the evolving television landscape. Viewers are encouraged to note the updated air times to ensure continued access to their preferred programs.
The restructuring reflects the broadcaster's commitment to adapting its content delivery to better meet the needs and viewing habits of its audience. The update is anticipated to remain in effect through the end of the year, with ARD monitoring reception and engagement to inform any future modifications to its programming schedule.
