Teenagers burn down caravan

Kirchheim. Teenagers burnt down a caravan in Flurstraße in Kirchheim, which burned out on sunday night.

Investigators examined the scene and identified that the initial flames started around the wheels of the caravan. The flames rose up, destroying the vehicle and causing damage, which is estimated at 10,000 Euro. A passerby noticed the fire at midnight and alerted the fire brigade. According to the police the man saw a few youngsters running away from the caravan before he noticed the blaze, however he was not able to describe the offenders.

The flames were extinguished by commandant Christoph Aumiller and his 24 firefighters from the auxiliary fire brigade.
