Friday's win get Munich closer to top of the table

Munich, October 3 - As the weather cools, EHC München is heating up on the ice.  Two straight wins on the road has EHC sitting in third in DEL table.

On Friday night, Eric Schneider scored his fourth goal in this young season to ice a 3-0 win over the Metro Stars in Duesseldorf.  EHC return home for two matches, starting tonight against Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg at 19:30 at the Olympia Eissportzentrum.  It's a Bavarian Derby on Tuesday as ERC Ingolstadt come to town.  Win those two and that sets up huge match up for EHC in another Bavarian Derby against Nuremberg's Thomas Sabo Tigers on Friday.  But before we jump ahead, first things first.

Both Munich and Wolfsburg started this season slowly, however Munich have turned things around winning their past 3 matches.  Wolfsburg finished third in the DEL last season and have yet to show their brilliance, losing 3 of their past four matches, pulling out a victory in their last game against Krefeld.
