89-Year-Old Woman Dies Following Accident in Marzahn

Berlin - A tragic incident occurred in Marzahn when an 89-year-old woman succumbed to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. The incident took place on the morning of July 23, 2025, involving a 32-year-old driver of a Sprinter vehicle.

At approximately 8:50 a.m., the driver attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection of Allee der Kosmonauten and Pekrunstraße, inadvertently striking the elderly pedestrian. Following the collision, the driver continued on without offering assistance to the severely injured woman.

Emergency services arrived quickly on the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where she was treated for serious head injuries. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, she passed away in the early hours of July 24, 2025.
