Security officials in Denmark have reported an increase in drone activity over critical military sites, particularly at the nation's largest military base. According to reports, unidentified drones were spotted near military installations, specifically over the Karup air base in western Denmark, which serves as the main hub for the Royal Danish Air Force. Simon Skelsjaer, a duty officer, confirmed that the drone activity was noted around 8:15 PM local time, lasting for several hours. The Karup air base shares its runways with the civilian Midtjylland Airport, which experienced a temporary closure due to the sightings, though the impact was minimal as there were no scheduled commercial flights at the time.
