Exciting Trailer Released for Brad Pitt's Formula 1 Movie 'F1'
In a thrilling development for moviegoers and racing fans alike, a vibrant trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming Formula 1 film titled 'F1', featuring Brad Pitt in the lead role as a race car driver. The film is set to explore the journey of a seasoned racer attempting to make a comeback.
With just three months to go before its theatrical release, the film's creators have ramped up excitement with the recently released trailer. Academy Award-winning actor Pitt, known for his role in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', shares the screen with British actor Damson Idris, both portraying competitive drivers. Reports indicate that during filming, Pitt and Idris tackled their driving scenes at speeds exceeding 290 kilometers per hour on actual racetracks, a feat highlighted by director Joseph Kosinski, who noted the unique adrenaline rush captured during the production.
The film's production took place during various racing weekends, encompassing locations such as Silverstone, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi. Notably, Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton served as a consultant and co-producer, contributing his expertise to enhance the film's authenticity.
Pitt portrays a former driver who faced a severe accident in the 1990s, leading him to race in other series before a friend, played by Javier Bardem, convinces him to return to Formula 1. In his comeback, Pitt's character takes on the role of mentor to a talented young driver, portrayed by Idris, guiding him toward success.
To ensure a realistic portrayal of the racing world, filming took place in the paddocks, where Pitt participated in driver briefings. Throughout the production, Pitt, Idris, and their stunt doubles drove modified Formula 2 cars representing a fictional team named Apex.
Produced by Apple Studios and featuring a score by renowned composer Hans Zimmer, 'F1' is scheduled for a global release in theaters at the end of June.
