White Ravens Festival
Join us from July 13 to July 17, 2025, at the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Munich for the 8th edition of the White Ravens Festival for International Children's and Youth Literature. Under the patronage of the Bavarian State Minister for Science and Art, this five-day festival will feature authors from Germany and abroad reading from their children's and youth books, leading workshops and writing sessions, and participating in panel discussions about their work. The festival, which takes place every two years, creates a bridge between cultures with a diverse program of both German and international events. It is one of the largest festivals for children's literature worldwide and the largest literary festival in Germany.
The following authors have confirmed their participation: Ximo Abadía (Spain), Mo Abbas (France), Sabine Bohlmann (Germany), Flix (Germany), Johannes Herwig (Germany), Emma Karinsdotter (Sweden), Martine Letterie (Netherlands), Kairi Look (Estonia), Abdi Nazemian (USA), Anja Reumschüssel (Germany), Irene Sarmiento (Philippines).
