Prana Extrem

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 20:00 to 22:00, join us at the Münchner Volkstheater for a remarkable theatrical experience inspired by the novel by Joshua Groß. As the summer heat intensifies, a group of young individuals from diverse backgrounds unexpectedly comes together in the sunlit Austrian Alps. Amidst the surreal setting, where Aloe Vera grows and giant dragonflies buzz, they form a bond that deepens as they navigate their temporary sanctuary. With Lil Wayne's music playing and Chupa Chups in hand, they indulge in science fiction, marvel at a stolen meteorite, and wave to a friend on the ISS. This fleeting connection becomes all the more poignant in the face of impending doom. Groß's 'Prana Extrem' explores what companionship looks like when faced with the end, presenting a celebration of togetherness despite the absurdity of existence. Directed by Philipp Arnold, this production promises an absurdly positive take on the final summer evening of humanity.
