Karl Valentin & Liesl Karlstadt: Heimatlos - Hofausstellung
After the Musäum at Isartor remains closed until spring 2026 due to fire safety renovations, Valentin and Karlstadt have unexpectedly found themselves without a home. Nevertheless, they still look dapper, as they have learned: no matter where one resides, one must wear their hat well, and the cap and cigar should be stylish. In Munich, this holds true.
With this new outdoor exhibition, they now showcase their great art and the journey to it in front of Isartor. Even in the open air, they do not shy away from anything. They provide a very personal perspective on the circumstances of being homeless, foreign, and different.
Guided tours will be held on July 29, August 26, September 30, and October 28 at 17:30. The exhibition is continuously accessible until October 31.
