d'Hundskrippln

On Friday, November 7, 2025, from 19:30 to 23:00, join us for an exciting concert by d'Hundskrippln at Muffatwerk/Ampere in Munich. The Hundskrippln, a band from the Ingolstadt area, has a unique name they inherited from the previous generation of musicians known as 'Die oidn Hundskrippln'. Initially, this trio performed Bavarian music solely at local strong beer festivals. However, they expanded their lineup by incorporating younger musicians from the village, allowing them to conquer larger festival stages.

When the original members retired in 2012, the younger trio--bassist Franz Eichhammer, keyboardist Christian Winkler, and guitarist Andreas Semmler--continued the legacy by bringing in well-known friends to form the second generation of Hundskrippln. Musically adventurous, the band combines traditional Bavarian sounds with rock elements, creating their distinct Hundskrippl sound. One of their notable covers includes a Bavarian version of the 90s hit 'Teenage Dirtbag' by Wheatus, titled 'Gloana Bauer', which became a cult hit across southern Germany.

The humorous lyrics were penned by their friend Gstanzl singer Riegler Hias, and the band recorded a music video for this catchy tune. The song gained immense popularity, even making its way into Bayern 3's programming and becoming a hit at the Oktoberfest.
