This alternative rock band, led by frontman Jake Segura, has rapidly risen to fame since their formation in 2016, gaining over 900,000 TikTok followers and amassing more than 800 million streams globally. Their single 'Burden' reached number one on the iTunes Rock charts in August 2024, all achieved independently without a record label or management.

Citizen Soldier's music resonates deeply with fans, addressing mental health issues through powerful and melodic rock anthems that are both engaging and uplifting. Their live performances are described as inclusive events that empower everyone present, fostering a sense of community and support.

With their new album 'ICARUS', the band is set to tour Germany in the fall of 2025, making stops in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, and Oberhausen. The band was conceived when Segura penned lyrics in a psychiatric clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. Now a licensed trauma therapist, he channels his experiences and those of others struggling with inner conflicts into their music, blending alt/rock, post-grunge, and poignant storytelling.

Citizen Soldier's recent success includes reaching 84th place on the Pollstar charts and selling out their first headlining tour at venues of over 1500 capacity, alongside performances at major rock festivals like Welcome to Rockville and Aftershock. Their latest album 'ICARUS', filled with massive rock hymns, captures the frustration and struggles people face in their lives, aiming to provide validation and a sense of being seen.
