Christopher Street Day in München: Alle Informationen und Events

The Christopher Street Day weekend on June 28th and 29th, 2025, in Munich is the traditional highlight of the CSD Pride Weeks. The program highlights include:

• During the large street festival on June 28th and 29th around Marienplatz, the celebration features live music, talks, culture, and politics.
• The political parade on June 28th starts at 12 PM, showcasing colorful floats and groups as they move through the city center of Munich.
• At the Rathausclubbing event on June 28th, the New Town Hall will transform into a nightclub from 10 PM to 5 AM with pulsating beats.

At the 2024 CSD, the LGBTIQ* community demonstrated for equal rights and social acceptance. The political parade featured 208 groups participating either on foot or on trucks. Participants included local organizations like the Munich AIDS Help and Sub, diversity networks, musicians, companies, political parties, trade unions, and many more supportive groups. Mayor Dieter Reiter also joined the parade, which was led once again by the Bikes on Dykes, followed by a float from CSD Munich and the mayor accompanied by city councilor Thomas Niederbühl.

The parade route began at Mariahilfplatz at 12 PM, proceeding over Reichenbachbrücke, Fraunhoferstraße, Müllerstraße to Bellevue di Monaco, and then through Blumenstraße, Sendlinger-Tor-Platz, Sonnenstraße, Stachus/Karlsplatz, and Maximiliansplatz, finally reaching Brienner Straße. The setup for the event started as early as 8 AM in Au.
