Goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev to Depart Füchse Berlin at Season's End

Füchse Berlin have announced that their long-serving goalkeeper, Dejan Milosavljev, will leave the club after the current handball season. The Serbian athlete, whose contract is set to expire, has agreed to join Polish champions Industria Kielce for the upcoming season.

Milosavljev joined Füchse Berlin in 2019 after a successful stint with Vardar Skopje, where he secured a Champions League title. Since his arrival in the German capital, he has been instrumental in the club's recent achievements, including victories in the EHF European League in 2023 and clinching the Super Cup in both 2024 and 2025. Most notably, he played a pivotal role in helping Füchse Berlin secure their first-ever national championship last season.

Throughout his tenure, Milosavljev developed a strong rapport with supporters, who appreciated his dynamic playing style and consistent performances. The Max-Schmeling-Halle frequently echoed with chants in support of the goalkeeper, reflecting his popularity among the fanbase.

Füchse Berlin have been preparing for Milosavljev's departure and already possess an internal replacement in Lasse Ludwig. Ludwig, a product of the club's youth system, has gradually shared responsibilities with Milosavljev and is viewed as a reliable successor. The club's management has stated their intention to finalize the signing of an additional goalkeeper to form a competitive partnership with Ludwig, ensuring the team's continued success at the Champions League level.

The decision to part ways was reached amicably, with both the club and the player recognizing the opportunity for Milosavljev to pursue a new challenge in Poland. The club's leadership expressed appreciation for his contributions and emphasized that he would remain an important part of Füchse Berlin's history. The focus remains on finishing the current season strongly and achieving further success together before the transition occurs.

As the season progresses, Füchse Berlin and their supporters will look to celebrate Milosavljev's achievements while preparing for the next chapter in both the player's and the club's journey. The upcoming months will be significant as club officials work to secure a new goalkeeping partnership that can sustain their competitive edge in domestic and European competitions.
