The MMI Festival has been taking place since 2016 in various cities across Europe, and this year it arrives in Munich. Hosted at Einstein Kultur, the festival will feature nine concerts showcasing freely improvised music performed by internationally acclaimed artists such as Agustí Fernández, John Butcher, Zlatko Kaucic, and Marja Burchard, known as the bandleader of Embryo. Each performance will pair two or three musicians who often play together for the first time, allowing the moment to guide their collaboration: without pre-agreements, without fixed roles, but with heightened musical awareness and a willingness to embrace the unknown.

Other performers include Alex Reviriego, Christine Abdelnour, Vasco Trilla, Joni Sigil, Marta Warelis, Lucía Martinez, Don Malfon, Ana Kravanja, Maria Bertel, Jordina Millau, and Dieb13. Additionally, two concerts will feature a unique artistic collaboration between musicians and Flamenco dancer Sònia Sánchez.
