Invernomuto. »Triton«

Haus der Kunst

The exhibition 'Triton' is a multimedia research project developed by the artist group Invernomuto, founded in 2003 by Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi. This innovative exhibition format will evolve over two years into an open artwork that circulates both physically and digitally. The current cycle of work draws inspiration from a real amphibian colony in Val Trebbia, Northern Italy, where two rainwater basins carved into the rock of Pietra Perduca have been inhabited by salamanders since the Bronze Age. These small 'dragons' are referred to as Tritons by locals and are featured in local folklore.

'Triton' continues Invernomuto's artistic exploration of non-linear time narratives, aiming to develop a sculptural object that integrates parallel timelines through sounds, texts, and sensory feedback, enriched by a diverse range of contributors.

Join us for a listening session as part of the 'Echoes. Plot Twist' series on Saturday, February 1, at 19:30 (from January 31 to January 31, 2026).
