Gonzalo Borondo - Chrysalis
Experience the captivating installation by Spanish artist Gonzalo Borondo at Villa Stuck. As part of the renovation of the museum's main facade, Borondo has transformed the scaffolding into a work of art featuring mythological figures such as fauns and centaurs, alongside elements inspired by Dionysus and motifs revolving around Eros and Thanatos. His contemporary interpretation breathes new life into these themes, creating a translucent white-gold painting that envelops the artist's house. This unique visual narrative is deeply rooted in the artistic world of Franz von Stuck while showcasing Borondo's distinctive style. The facade installation will be on display until June 1, 2025.
