17. Münchner Orgelherbst: Peter Kofler

Jesuit Church St. Michael

Join us for an exceptional organ concert featuring Peter Kofler at the renowned Jesuit Church of St. Michael in Munich. As part of the 17th Munich Organ Autumn, this concert showcases the magnificent Michaels organ, built by the Rieger company, which will be enhanced in 2024 by the new choir organ. Together, these instruments boast nearly 100 registers, promising an unforgettable auditory experience.

This year's program presents a remarkable variety, including organ music, chamber music, improvisations, and even an 'Organ for Children' segment. Renowned artists such as Hansjörg Albrecht, Katja Stuber, Franz Vitzthum, Gertrud Wittkowsky, Johannes Lang, Christine Schornsheim, Martin Stark SJ, Ondrej Valenta, and Peter Kofler will be performing.

A special highlight of the event is that the organ concerts will be broadcast live onto a large screen within the church, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere and captivating sounds of the Munich Organ Autumn.
