Bavaria's capital is no stranger to some of the world's top music shows. International icons grace the city in abundance: Bob Dylan, Liam Gallagher's band Beady Eye and Wiz Khalifa have all come to play for the people that lives in Munich.

Now, on the 12th of November, one of the world's biggest Indie Rock groups makes their return. After playing Munich's Energy in the Park festival in 2011 the Arctic Monkeys are coming back to show off their much anticipated fifth album "AM" as they play at the Zenith exhibition centre.

Since raising to fame in 2006 with the critically acclaimed debut record "Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not" the Brits have cemented their place as one of the bands of their generation. They boast a wide array of rock anthems that include "I Bet You Look Good On The Dance floor" and "Fluorescent Adolescent". Songs like these have allowed lead singer Alex Turner and company to sell out venues and festivals around the globe. In June they reached new realms of glory as they headlined Britain's biggest festival - Glastonbury. The Indie Rockers made the famous pyramid stage their own with a colossal career-spanning set, and that's exactly what you can expect from them in Munich.

Frequently voted the best live band at the Brit, NME and Q awards, the Arctic Monkeys have proven that they are more than worth the ticket price. What will make this gig even more special is the size of it: the Zenith has a capacity of around 7,000. This is considerably less in comparison to the size of crowds at the festivals they have been headlining across Europe this Summer which means this is a chance to see a flourishing music act in a fairly smaller venue. The boys from Sheffield are not making just one stop in Germany. You can catch them in Offenbach, Berlin and Dusseldorf if seeing them in Munich is not enough for you.
