Requirements/Qualifications (Education):
• 5-10 years experience in the storage environment
• Thorough understanding of server and SAN based storage concepts
• Deomonstrated experience of managing business development through VAD/VAR channels
• Expereince with direct end user sales
• Ability to quickly build business relation with new customers/partners
• Demonstrate ability to close sales and cultivate new opportunities
• Technically mature - willingness to take responsibility and accountability
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

Job Description:
LSI is seeking a Sales Business Development Manager to position and sell the LSI Flash product range. This person will be responsible for developing a VAR channel and to position the LSI ASD product range to end users. The individual will manage all development and acquisition activities in the Central
European Region.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships and developing opportunities into the storage VAR channel
• Manage and grow LSI Flash product range into the assigned region
• Build and execute on penetration and rapid growth strategy to make LSI the preferred SSD Flash Storage provider
• Define quarterly business goals and manage the channel accordingly
• Plan, coordinate and conduct assigned trade shows, Technology RoadShows or EcoSystem events in cooperation with Channel and Corporate Marketing
• Close new business sales in a professional and effective manner
• Exceed assigned sales targets
